The Colosseum, originally called the Flavian Amphitheater, first completed by Emperor Titus during the time of my story, is in the upper left. The Roman Forum is the green area that runs from the right corner of the image to the Arch of Titus near the center, and Palatine Hill, with the visible, substructural remains of once great buildings rises to the right.

The Pantheon is the most complete Roman building left from antiquity.
